Back to School Tag

So one of my friends, Grace Matlyn Buckner, a blogger, writer and a founder of BGLG, recently wrote a post and tagged me, so here goes nothing! (Note: I have never done this before, I hope it turns out)

First: Thank You, Grace!

Second: Here are the rules that the original maker of the Back to School Tag wrote:

  1. Thank the person who tagged you. (#shamelessselfpromo)
  2. Answer the questions.
  3. Post new questions. (Or a blank copy of the old questions, if you’re too lazy to make your own (or you just love my questions))
  4. Tag as many (or as few) people as you want. (Try to make sure they’re still doing school!)
  5. Wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. (I can’t confirm this, BUT I’LL KNOW IF YOU LIE, OKAY? MAGICALLY!)
  6. Don’t die. (Death is terrible for the complexion, dearie)

And, the questions. (also, my answers are normal, questions are italic)

  1. When’s your first day of school?   Um… we do school all through summer 😛
  2. What do (and don’t) you look forward to about entering the realm of the dead? Uh, I mean the learned. I am looking forward to the Co-op I do, history class, and I am NOT looking forward to math…
  3. Homeschooled, public schooled, or private schooled? HOMESCHOOLING FOREVER!!!
  4. What grade are you going into? (if you’re okay sharing)  Heh Heh… 8.5? See, I am young for my grade so my mom is ‘holding me back a year’ in… 8th grade.
  5. How many more years of torture do you have to endure learn? Counting this year: 8.5, 9, 10, 11, 12, so 5 years. Actually, because of the whole ‘holding me back’ thing, I will be doing one more school year than all the other kids. (‘:
  6. What are your goals for this school year?  To make it through the school year, and I actually am just making this up because I don’t have any goals….
  7. What’s your favorite season to school in? Fall, winter, or spring? Fall and Spring because Co-op is in fall and spring, but I also really like winter, so really I don’t have one?
  8. How is schooling going to effect your blogging?  Yeah, that’s the question of the day. Well, I probably won’t be able to blog on Thursdays, but other than that not really in any way, other than make it harder.
  9. What’s your favorite school subject?   English, History, and I like the art and creative writing classes I’m taking at Elevate this year.
  10. Your least favorite? Math!!
  11. What subject are you best at?  English or History.
  12. What subject are you worst at? Math. Bleh.
  13. What extra-curricular activities are you planning this year (if any)?  Co-op classes (Fall semester: Starting Points and Drama. Spring semester: no clue yet.) Elevate classes. (All year: Creative Writing and Art History.) And I’m doing cross-country. (Fall only)
  14. How are you preparing for life/college this year (on a conscious level)?   Well… not at all really.
  15. Do you play any sports in school? Yes! Cross-country running!!! Yay!!
  16. Is there any way that schooling is going to help your blogging endeavors? Or how has it helped your blogging skillz in the past?  Creative writing, and English, are obviously helping. And sometimes other subjects give me ideas for blogging.
  17. How much time a day is school going to take for you? From 9:00ish-1:00ish. So, 4 hours. However, during Co-op we do less school and I usually finish before lunch then do homework for Co-op and Elevate.
  18. Are you looking forward to seeing friends more often during the school year?
Yes! I will be seeing one in particular a lot more because she doesn’t go to my church, but goes to Co-op and I met her there. Guess who? (Drum roll….) GRACE MATLYN BUCKNER! (:
  19. Are you dreading or looking forward to the event (or did you, if it’s already happened)?  I was looking forward too it, but also sort of dreading it because I am now doing High School level work…
  20. What are you most looking forward to about school?   English, History, and Co-op/Elevate.
  21. How are you planning to fit actual life in with your school schedule?  Well, I’m Homeschooled and do school all through summer, so school is kinda always in my schedule…
  22. What are your overall thoughts on school?  Bleh. But at least I don’t have to go to work EVERY DAY!

So, I have almost no time and I’m just going to copy and past the last questions, besides, I happen to like them. (:

And I’m tagging these people:

Lexie Brook @ Lexie Brooke creative treasures

Claire Yang @ Claire Yang Writes

Note: It was EXTREMELY hard to find even two school-aged bloggers!! Most of the people I follow are either in their twenties or old. (old being 40+) Lexie is the one I found, and I really like Claire’s posts, even though I don’t think I follow her, so I tagged her. I am not SURE if you are in school, Claire, so if you are not, so sorry just ignore this! (:
